The weight of Desperation 
 
Not so sick that I want to die 
Got so lost that I no longer cry 
Got this disease inside you see 
Guess weight’s getting the better of me 
 
It’s not that I cannot try 
More that life’s been passing me by 
This is not where I wanted to be 
But weight’s getting the better of me 
 
I have got to find a way out 
Release myself from this shadow of doubt
